Destiny 2 Community Outraged as Bungie’s Blog Post Backfires

However, players were quick to point out that new paid armor sets continue to be released in the in-game store each season, leading to accusations of prioritizing monetization over player satisfaction.
The upcoming showcase reveal stream on August 22 and The Final Shape expansion in February have now taken on increased importance for many dedicated Destiny 2 players.
