Former President Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, accused President Joe Biden of election interference in relation to the indictment against Trump over the Capitol riots. Standing outside the E. Barrett Prettyman courthouse where Trump was arraigned, Habba stated that the timing of the charges was not a coincidence, but rather a deliberate attempt to divert attention from negative news about Biden and his family. Habba called it Biden political lawfare and vowed to continue fighting for the American people.

Habba highlighted several instances where negative news about Biden and his family seemingly coincided with legal actions against Trump. She mentioned Hunter Biden’s admission about his laptop, followed by the indictment against Trump. Another example she cited was the release of an FBI document revealing payments made to the Biden crime family by Ukrainians, followed by a raid and indictment at Mar-a-Lago. Furthermore, she pointed out the failure of Hunter Biden’s plea deal and how it was followed by a superseding indictment against Trump. Lastly, Habba mentioned Devon Archer’s testimony and the subsequent indictment related to the January 6 events.

According to Habba, all these events were not coincidences but rather orchestrated attempts to interfere with the election and target President Trump, who she described as under an unprecedented siege. President Trump arrived in Washington, D.C. on Thursday to appear in federal court following the indictment on charges related to the Capitol riots.

President Trump was indicted by a grand jury on four counts, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights. The indictment came shortly after Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, testified before the House Oversight Committee, implicating President Joe Biden in a long-running influence peddling scheme.

This news article presents the statements made by Alina Habba, President Trump’s attorney, regarding the timing of charges against Trump and their alleged connection to negative news about Biden and his family. Habba accuses the Biden administration of election interference and vows to continue fighting. It also mentions President Trump’s arrival in Washington, D.C. for his first appearance in federal court regarding the January 6 Capitol riots. The indictment against Trump is outlined, as well as the testimony implicating President Biden in an influence peddling scheme.
