This inclines them towards growing through inorganic means and exploring options for remodelling their business. Private equity funds coming in with a control mindset have also contributed to the growth of the M&A market, from $137 billion in the previous five years to $240 billion in the last five years. Experts believe that this trend is set to continue in the next five years. Furthermore, India is set to become a market to be in for international firms, as boardroom discussions have started to underscore the potential for growth in the country. With the trajectory of growth in the investment banking industry in India, there is a lot of promise for growth going forward.
