FAT Brands Appoints Three New Directors to Board, Expanding Experience and Expertise

FAT Brands Inc., a global franchising company, has announced the appointment of three new directors to its board. The new additions, Peter R. Feinstein, Matthew H. Green, and John C. Metz, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the company. With these appointments, the size of the board will increase to 12 members.

Peter R. Feinstein and Matthew H. Green will serve as independent directors, in addition to being appointed to the Audit Committee of the Board. Mr. Feinstein has extensive experience in operating restaurant and entertainment properties, including Fatburger franchises, SHAC LLC, Sugar Factory, El Dorado Cantina, and Country Star Restaurants. He is also a retired certified public accountant and has served in senior management and audit roles with Kenneth Leventhal & Co. and Fox & Co. On the other hand, Mr. Green, based in London, brings over 30 years of finance experience as a merchant banker, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, and energy sectors for various clients.

John C. Metz, who will be serving as a Director, has a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry. He currently owns and operates approximately 70 franchised restaurants, including Hurricane Dockside Grill restaurants under the Company’s franchise, as well as Denny’s and Wahoo Seafood Grill restaurants.

Andy Wiederhorn, Chairman of FAT Brands, expressed his satisfaction with the new appointments, stating, I’m pleased to further bolster the size and experience of the board with the additions of Peter, Matthew, and John. He highlighted their insights as current franchisees within the FAT Brands system, as well as their restaurant brand experiences. Additionally, Matthew’s financial experience is expected to be beneficial as the company continues to grow and scale.
