The Mumbai circle accounted for the highest number of cases, with the Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nagpur, and Latur circles reporting no fresh cases. As per the bulletin, Maharashtra logged 286 new cases in the week between May 23 and May 29, compared with 488 cases in the previous week between May 16 and May 22, 2023. Maharashtra has a 98.18% recovery rate and a case fatality rate of 1.81%.
