New Delhi, August 1 – Renewable energy company Jakson Group has successfully implemented a 9-kilowatt solar plant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as part of a collaboration agreement. Constructed by Jakson Welfare Trust, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Jakson Group, the solar project is situated on the rooftop of the AIIMS Director’s bungalow within the campus. It is estimated that the plant will generate an annual energy output of 13,140 units.

Expressing his commitment to supporting the national net-zero mission through renewable energy solutions, Sameer Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Jakson Group, highlighted their partnership with AIIMS as a testament to this commitment. The collaboration aims to advance sustainable healthcare practices and serves as an example for other institutions to follow suit.

The successful installation of the solar power plant at AIIMS showcases the pursuit of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient healthcare solutions. By harnessing solar energy, AIIMS is taking strides towards reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

By generating a substantial amount of electricity annually, the solar plant will contribute to meeting the institution’s energy needs while significantly reducing its reliance on conventional energy sources. This step aligns with the Indian government’s push to promote clean and renewable energy across sectors.

The project not only delivers environmental benefits but also sets an inspiring example for other medical institutions and organizations within the country. By incorporating renewable energy solutions, they can contribute to a greener future while ensuring reliable power supply.

Jakson Group’s commitment to renewable energy is commendable, as it plays a crucial role in achieving India’s ambitious sustainability targets. Their collaboration with AIIMS highlights the potential for incorporating green energy solutions in healthcare infrastructure which can lead to more sustainable and eco-friendly operations in the future.

The installation of this solar plant contributes to India’s renewable energy capacity, aligning with the country’s goal of having at least 40% of its total energy generation from non-fossil fuel sources by 2030. It serves as a prime example of how the healthcare industry can actively participate in the transition towards a greener and more sustainable future.

The successful completion of this project also reaffirms Jakson Group’s position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector. Their expertise in implementing clean energy solutions will continue to drive positive change and inspire other organizations to adopt similar practices.

Overall, the partnership between Jakson Group and AIIMS marks a significant milestone in the adoption of renewable energy solutions in the healthcare sector. By embracing solar power, AIIMS is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also demonstrating its commitment to sustainable healthcare practices. This collaboration sets an example for other medical institutions, encouraging them to explore clean energy alternatives. With the successful installation of the 9-kilowatt solar plant, AIIMS has taken a significant step towards a greener and more sustainable future.
