Microsoft Clipchamp Enterprise Rolls Out for Commercial Users: Create Professional Videos with Ease
Microsoft has announced the release of Clipchamp Enterprise for commercial users, allowing them to create professional-looking videos with ease. As part of the Targeted release program, the launch will be completed in the coming weeks, offering powerful features and a user-friendly interface accessible through a web browser.
Stefan Kinnestrand, the general manager for Microsoft 365, expressed excitement about Clipchamp’s capabilities, stating, With powerful features in a user-friendly interface accessed through a web browser, Clipchamp makes it easy for anyone to confidently create professional-looking videos with no prior experience.
Starting from the end of August, users who have chosen to participate in the Targeted release will be the first to access Clipchamp in their Microsoft 365 accounts. IT admins can opt-in to Clipchamp for their organization by reviewing the setup options.
Clipchamp offers a wide range of features, thanks to its user-friendly interface. Users can enjoy drag-and-drop editing, a multitrack timeline, various video effects and transitions, options to record from their webcam or screen, and the ability to import videos and images from their computer or the cloud.
Previously, Windows Movie Maker was a popular video editing app for Windows; however, it was discontinued with Windows 10. Microsoft later acquired Clipchamp and made it a pre-installed app in Windows 11. While some criticized it for being underbaked and overly pricey, the release of the enterprise version may address these concerns.
The introduction of Microsoft Clipchamp Enterprise for commercial users has sparked interest among content creators and businesses alike. The app’s user-friendly interface and comprehensive features make it an attractive choice for those seeking to create professional videos without the need for prior experience.
As with any new software release, user feedback will play a crucial role in determining the success of Microsoft Clipchamp Enterprise. Only time will tell if this version addresses the criticisms from the previous iteration and meets the expectations of commercial users.
