Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, expressed his honor at having the new cancer hospital in Thane named after his mentor and Shiv Sena icon, Dharmveer Anand Dighe. Shinde praised Dighe’s dedication to serving the people and remarked on the hospital’s potential to bring new hope and life to cancer patients.
