Florida Gators Football Open Practice at The Swamp: August 5 Sneak Peek
Florida football fans are in for a treat as they will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek of the start of season two under head coach Billy Napier. An open practice will be held next Saturday, August 5 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. inside The Swamp, allowing fans to witness the team’s preparations for the upcoming season. Admission to the practice is free.
To ensure a smooth entry for fans, gates will open at 2 p.m. Fans can enter through Gate 1 and 6, while Gate 18 will serve as the only exit point at the end of the practice. It is important to note that Ben Hill Griffin Stadium’s gameday prohibited items and clear bag policy will be in effect for the open practice. Fans are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the list of prohibited items beforehand.
To keep fans refreshed and energized, select concessions stands will be open, offering snacks and drinks for purchase. Additionally, the Gators Sportshop, located near Gate 9, will be open, providing fans the opportunity to grab some team merchandise.
Restrooms will be conveniently accessible throughout the main concourse of the stadium, ensuring fans have a comfortable experience during the practice.

Following the practice, Florida Victorious, UF’s exclusive NIL (name, image, likeness) arm, will host an autograph session for its members. The session will commence at 4:30 p.m. and last for 45 minutes. Florida Victorious members will have the privilege of field access for themselves and one guest aged 12 or under. Offense players will be located on the west side of the field, while defense players and special teams will be on the east side. Members are allowed to bring one item of memorabilia for signing.
