Las Vegas Sex Offender Arrested for Murder: Shocking Case Unveiled

A shocking murder case has emerged in Las Vegas, as a convicted sex offender is accused of killing his roommate and hiding her decomposing body for two months. The suspect, George Anthony Bone, 31, was taken into custody after the victim’s family discovered her corpse inside their shared home.

The victim, identified as Beverly Ma, had been Bone’s longtime friend from high school and moved in with him last summer. According to court documents, Bone informed the police that he knew Ma had been dead for some time and claimed she had taken her own life. However, investigators believe she was a victim of homicide, with strangulation suspected as the cause of death.

The grisly discovery was made when Ma’s family visited the residence to address an unusually high air conditioning bill. Bone allegedly admitted that Ma’s body had been in a barricaded closet for two months and even offered to show the family members. Stunned by the revelation, they alerted the authorities immediately.

Disturbingly, Bone had been living in the house with Ma’s decomposing body, driven by his irrational fear that she might return from the dead. He also took advantage of his deceased roommate’s finances, allegedly making over 170 unauthorized purchases using Ma’s Amazon account. Moreover, Bone used Ma’s phone to send a message declining an invitation to a July 4 party, claiming she wanted to remain sober and avoid being around people.

When questioned about not reporting Ma’s death, Bone stated that he was afraid of going back to jail, as he had a prior conviction as a registered sex offender. Previously, Bone had been sentenced to two to eight years in state prison for attempted lewdness with a child under 14. Court records indicate that he had faced another sexual assault accusation involving an 11-year-old girl.

In a bizarre attempt to limit the number of flies in the house, Bone set the air conditioning to a chilly 60 degrees. When asked about this unusual action, Bone attributed it to being superstitious and heavily influenced by horror movies and ghost stories during his upbringing.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is continuing its investigation into Ma’s death, focusing on gathering evidence to support the charges of murder against Bone. The case has stunned the local community, highlighting the potential dangers associated with convicted sex offenders and raising concerns about the safety of individuals living with them.

The harrowing details of this case serve as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and reporting suspicious activities to prevent tragic outcomes. As the investigation unfolds, the justice system will work to ensure that George Anthony Bone faces the appropriate punishment for his alleged crimes.
