Wildlife Smugglers Foiled: 306 Exotic Animals Seized at Mumbai Airport
In a major breakthrough, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) successfully intercepted an elaborate smuggling attempt at Mumbai airport on Friday. The authorities discovered and seized 306 live exotic animals that were being smuggled into India through air cargo. The confiscated animals included a variety of endangered species such as turtles, tortoises, crabs, alligator gar, and stingrays.

Additionally, tortoises such as the Greek Tortoise, Red-footed Tortoise, and Asian Spurred Tortoise were also discovered during the smuggling attempt.
