Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where he will participate in a program at Kankeshwari Maidan. Due to his visit and the scheduled program, the traffic police have developed a diversion plan from the airport to the venue. Individuals who wish to attend the program will need to follow a specific route, passing through various locations before reaching the destination.
The program is anticipated to attract over 50,000 people from all districts of Indore division. Approximately 1,100 buses and 500 four-wheelers are expected to transport attendees. To facilitate smooth movement, specific routes and parking arrangements have been designated for these vehicles.
In terms of heavy vehicles, those traveling from Ujjain towards Lavkush can turn left towards Sanwer and continue on their way to Indore, Pithampur, and Dhar. Similarly, heavy or goods vehicles coming from Indore city/Rau or Mangalia bypass can head to Ujjain via Kshipra through Sanwer. Additionally, vehicles of all types will be able to travel from Dewas Naka/Vijay Nagar to various squares and chowks to reach their destination. Similarly, vehicles can move from Vijaynagar to Radisson Square, Robot Square, Khajrana Square, Pipliyahana Square, or Ring Road.
It is advised that the general public avoid inconvenience by steering clear of the VVIP routes during this time.
In terms of parking arrangements for workers’ vehicles, workers from district Jhabua Alirajpur and Dhar, as well as those from Betma and Navada Panth, can park their vehicles after dropping off the workers at various locations. Workers coming from Sanwer and Vidhansabha Constituency-1 will have their vehicles parked at the under-construction ISBT bus stand grounds. Vehicles from Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, and Kshipra Mangalia will be parked at designated locations.
VIP officers and pass holders will have their vehicles parked in the grounds of ITI Driving School.
It is advisable for residents to follow the specified routes and parking arrangements to mitigate traffic congestion and ensure the smooth flow of events during Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Indore.
