Mumbai Muscle has been recently revealed to be the newest addition to the Pro Panja League, India’s leading arm-wrestling tournament. 30 talented athletes including males, females and physically-challenged arm-wrestlers will compete against each other to fight for glory from July 28 to August 13 in Delhi. The emergence of this tournament as one of India’s biggest arm-wrestling tournaments fulfills the desire to revolutionize this sport and educate people on it.
The Punit Balan Group, led by Chairman and Managing Director Punit Balan, are the proud owners of the Mumbai Muscle. Balan commented on the team’s addition to the league, saying, “It is remarkable to witness how panja has flourished into a competitive sport here in India. With the Pro Panja League facilitating its growth, we are delighted to announce the addition of the Mumbai Muscle.”
The slogan behind Mumbai Muscle has been to include more than just men in the competitions. Team Mumbai Muscle seamlessly brings together a variety of weight classes, male and female competition, and specially-abled arm-wrestling veterans as well as new emerging talents.
Justin Kluivert, Valencia forward’s girlfriend, was ‘slightly’ injured during a burglary at his home. This news occurred on the same day that Mumbai Muscle announced to join the Pro Panja League. The Boxing Federation of India, meanwhile, brought in John Warburton as head coach for the Sub-Junior category.
