Radhika Madan has created a mark in the industry with her varied and versatile choices of projects and is now seeing the success of her work. At UK Asian Film Festival’s 25th edition, she won the ‘Best Actor Female Award’ for her outstanding performance in the film ‘Sanaa’. Her success was acknowledged by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the UK.
Radhika expressed her joy for her award saying that it was a surreal feeling that the film is resonating with the audience globally. The film tells the story of a headstrong woman who battles with her inner trauma. The movie features Radhika alongside Sohum Shah, Shikha Talsania and Pooja Bhatt.
This year Radhika is also set to venture into new and exciting projects. She will appear in the upcoming remake of Soorarai Pottru, titled ‘Production No 27’, a Maddock Entertainment’s movie called ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’ and ‘Rumi Ki Sharafat’.
UK Asian Film Festival is known for recognizing remarkable performance in Asian cinema.
