The makers of the upcoming action thriller series ‘Crackdown’ Season 2 have just revealed its official trailer. Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem took to Instagram to post the trailer with the caption, “#Crackdown2OnJioCinema, streaming free 25th May onwards”. The second season of the show is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Waluscha De Sousa, and Ankur Bhatia in lead roles. It is all set to be available for streaming on the OTT platform Jio Cinema from May 25.
The series follows the adventures of an intense covert operations team as they attempt to dismantle dangerous syndicates that threaten national security. It has beautiful locations including sand dunes in Jaisalmer and icy mountains in Kashmir, as well as intense action sequences and cinematography. Actor Saqib Saleem speaks of his experience on the show, saying that while it was grueling, it was important to do justice to his character Riyaz Pathan. Shriya Pilgaonkar also discussed her character as a double agent, and was excited to take the entertainment to a new level with the second season.
