Orion Walsh to Perform Free Concert at LCF Garden

Nebraska singer-songwriter Orion Walsh will be performing a free noon concert on Wednesday at the LCF Barbara Bartle Garden in Lincoln. The concert is part of the ongoing Lincoln Community Foundation Garden Performance Series.

Having spent over a decade touring and releasing albums, Walsh recently launched his latest work, So Many Places to See, in collaboration with folk/roots label Sower Records. With an impressive musical career behind him, Walsh has released a total of seven albums with independent labels Sower Records and Indie Vision Music. Notably, his album The Hitchhiker’s Son, produced by AJ Mogis (known for his work with Bright Eyes and Monsters of Folk), garnered significant attention. Walsh has also been a member of the band Slow Coming Day, which released two full-length albums under Tooth & Nail Records.

Throughout his career, Walsh has toured extensively, performing over 1,000 concerts across the United States and in multiple countries worldwide. He has traveled to Europe both as a solo artist and with his band. Along the way, he has had the opportunity to open for various artists, including Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Magic Slim, David Dondero, Mae, David Bazan, and The Mynabirds, to name just a few.

Walsh’s music has also made its way onto television and independent films of international fame. His songs have been featured on popular shows like Skins (UK), Pawn Stars, NY Ink (TLC), What Not to Wear, and even America’s Next Top Model.
