NTA Aims to Announce UGC NET 2023 Results by July 26 or July 27, Says UGC Chairman
The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has announced that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the results for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) examinations 2023 by July 26 or July 27. In case there are any changes to the schedule, the candidates will be duly informed.
Taking to Twitter, UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar stated, NTA aims to announce the results by 26 or 27 July. Will update if there is any change.
The UGC NET 2023 examinations were conducted in two phases by the NTA. Phase I took place from June 13 to June 17, followed by Phase II from June 19 to June 22. A total of 6,39,069 candidates appeared in these examinations.
In a significant development, the University Grants Commission had earlier announced that the minimum requirement for direct hiring to the position of Assistant Professor in all higher education institutions would be NET/SET/SLET.
