Under the initiative, every girl and woman in Bikaner undergoes a haemoglobin test, with their reports collected online through the MAA app. The app provides detailed data on haemoglobin levels and allows users to easily identify the prevalence and severity of anaemia. The MAA app has proven to be a valuable tool for gathering accurate and precise information on the prevalence of anaemia among girls and women. In fact, over 2.53 lakh adolescent girls have already undergone the haemoglobin test as part of the campaign.
Dr. Mohammad Abrar Pawar, the Chief Medical Health Officer of Bikaner, highlighted the significance of the app in managing and combating anaemia.
