Newcastle University Conducts Pilot Study to Evaluate the Efficacy of Smart Inhalers

University of Newcastle researchers are embarking on a pilot study to assess the effectiveness of smart inhalers in improving asthma management in children aged five to nine years. The study, funded by Asthma Australia with a grant of $400,000, aims to provide valuable evidence regarding the impact of these devices on adherence to medication schedules and the prevention of asthma exacerbations.
