Title: Bootlegger with a History of Crime Faces Justice as His Luck Runs Out

In a recent turn of events, luck has finally run out for Ravi Solanki, a notorious bootlegger with a long history of criminal activities. Solanki, aged 33, was apprehended by the authorities after allegedly sexually assaulting a 21-year-old graduate. But this was just one of many crimes that Solanki had committed during his troubled past.

According to sources, Solanki had a sinister modus operandi when it came to selecting his victims. He would seek out women who were accompanied by male friends or driving around with them. Observing them closely, he would assess whether they could be potential targets. Solanki knew that displaying his pistol and arms license, which he claimed was his police identity card, would be an effective way to intimidate and threaten his victims.

Reports suggest that Solanki had obtained an arms license due to his involvement as a witness in a murder case in 2019, during which he had received threats. The licensing unit is currently being sought for more details regarding the license. However, Solanki’s criminal activities extend far beyond his possession of an arms license.

Solanki’s first brush with crime dates back to June 2012 when he assaulted a tenant in his shop and forced him out. Although he was arrested and released on bail, the case was eventually settled by the complainant in 2013. In August 2015, while working on an RTV bus, Solanki got into a dispute with the staff of another bus over route and timing issues. Together with his associate, Ravi alias Kabootar, they assaulted the driver and staff of the other bus. Both Solanki and his associate were arrested, sent to judicial custody, and eventually granted bail. The case is still awaiting trial.

In 2018, Solanki made his way to a hotel in Lutyens Delhi, where he stole a car from inside the premises. He was promptly arrested, but once again, he managed to secure his release on bail. However, it was after this incident that Solanki turned to bootlegging, buying illicit liquor from neighboring Haryana and selling it in the national capital.

In January 2021, he and his associates, Amit and Jaideep, were apprehended while attempting to transport 164 cartons of illicit liquor in two vehicles. They were booked under the Excise Act, arrested, and subsequently released on bail.

Under special commissioner, crime, Ravindra Yadav’s instructions, a team was formed under the leadership of DCP Sanjay Bhatia to track down Solanki. Finally, their combined efforts led to the successful arrest of the bootlegger.

Ravi Solanki’s criminal history and the multiple instances of being released on bail have raised questions about the efficacy of the justice system. It is crucial for the authorities to ensure that repeat offenders face the full consequences of their actions and that innocent individuals are protected from further harm.

The apprehension of Solanki serves as a stark reminder that crime does not pay and that the law will eventually catch up with those who choose to lead a life of criminality. The judicial proceedings in the case will play an essential role in providing justice for the victims and determining the suitable punishment for the accused.

As the case progresses, the public eagerly awaits the verdict while hoping that justice will prevail. The arrest of Ravi Solanki serves as a reminder that the police force and the legal system remain vigilant in the pursuit of justice and the safeguarding of society.
