Delhi University has opened its registration portal for PhD admission for the academic session 2023-2024. The registration process began on July 12, 2023, and will conclude on August 2, 2023. In order to streamline the admission process, the university has divided it into two phases.
During Phase I, only candidates who are eligible based on qualifying exams such as UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, AYUSH-NET, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent national level examinations will be able to apply. These candidates will have the opportunity to register before others. On the other hand, in Phase II, all eligible candidates, including those who become eligible based on the entrance test, will be able to apply. However, the candidates who become eligible through the entrance test will only be shortlisted for interviews after the release of the entrance test results.
Candidates applying for the PhD programs are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 750 per program for UR/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs. 300 per program for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
