MP: Divyang Tribal Woman Reclaims Ancestral Land with the Help of District Collector
In a heartening turn of events in Madhya Pradesh, a divyang tribal woman from Chenpura village in Ratlam district has finally regained ownership of her ancestral land, thanks to the intervention of the district collector. Bhulibai Jodiya, 50, had been tirelessly pursuing her case to retrieve her three bigha of agricultural land, which had been unlawfully acquired by her brother-in-law.
Bhulibai’s long-standing struggle came to the attention of District Collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi during a weekly public hearing. Moved by her plight, Suryavanshi instructed Sailana SDM Manish Jain to ensure that Bhulibai receives possession of her land.
Taking immediate action, the collector directed the naib tehsildar to accompany Bhulibai to the Sailana SDM office in an official vehicle. Furthermore, Suryavanshi instructed the Sailana SDM to personally escort Bhulibai to her house, also using an official vehicle, and initiate the necessary steps to retrieve her land without delay.
Demonstrating further commitment to resolving the issue, Collector Suryavanshi arranged for Deputy Director of Social Justice, Sandhya Sharma, to accompany Bhulibai in a government vehicle from Ratlam.
