A fight between two groups of Congress workers in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, turned ugly as they thrashed each other in the middle of the road while welcoming former minister Jaivardhan Singh. The scuffle occurred between the supporters of Sanjay Yadav, nephew of former minister Lakhan Singh Yadav, and the group of Congress councillor Matu Yadav.

Sanjay Yadav and his supporters got into a heated argument with Matu Yadav’s group at Gwalior railway station. The situation escalated when Matu Yadav broke the glasses of Sanjay Yadav’s car. Fortunately, former minister Lakhan Singh Yadav and other Congress leaders were able to pacify the quarrel after significant effort.

The clash took place when Jaivardhan Singh arrived in Gwalior on Tuesday and many local leaders gathered at the station to welcome him. Sanjay Yadav and Matu Yadav were among the leaders present. Although the situation seemed to calm down at the station, tensions rose again at a nearby hotel. The groups started arguing and even brandished hockey sticks while verbally abusing each other. As a result, the supporters of councilor Matu Yadav vandalized Sanjay Yadav’s parked Fortuner car.

Sanjay Yadav, who is the nephew of Congress MLA Lakhan Singh Yadav, is vying for the ticket from Jaura assembly in Morena district. However, no official complaints have been made by either side regarding the incident.

Jaivardhan Singh expressed his disappointment over the scuffle, highlighting the fact that senior leaders attempted to mediate but were unsuccessful in resolving the conflict. He emphasized that such incidents should never happen.

In conclusion, a fight between Congress workers broke out in Gwalior during the welcome of former minister Jaivardhan Singh. The clash occurred between the groups supporting Sanjay Yadav and Matu Yadav, resulting in verbal abuse and physical violence. Despite efforts by senior Congress leaders to diffuse the situation, the incident escalated outside a hotel where supporters vandalized Sanjay Yadav’s car. The disagreement highlights a lack of understanding and could potentially impact internal party dynamics.
