Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has criticized the Central government, accusing them of levying taxes on essential goods and causing an increase in prices. Speaking at a rally in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, ahead of the state assembly elections, Kejriwal slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the rising expenses.

Kejriwal lamented the fact that while salaries remain stagnant, the cost of essential items continues to rise. He questioned the reasoning behind the price hikes, suggesting that the government’s taxes are to blame. Kejriwal went on to ask whether the government’s intentions are to loot the people through these taxes.

During his speech, Kejriwal also highlighted the initiatives he has undertaken as Delhi’s Chief Minister. He mentioned providing free electricity, education, and healthcare services to the people. Kejriwal emphasized equal opportunities in education, where students from various backgrounds study side by side. In addition, he mentioned providing free bus journeys for women and offering free pilgrimage trips to senior citizens.

CM Bhagwant Mann, who accompanied Kejriwal at the rally, was recognized for providing employment opportunities to unemployed youths in Punjab. Kejriwal further added that more job arrangements are being made to benefit additional individuals.

The upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections, which are scheduled to take place later this year, make Kejriwal’s rally significant. With his criticisms of the Central government’s taxes and promises of free services, Kejriwal hopes to gather support and votes during the elections.

This is an important news article highlighting the concerns raised by Arvind Kejriwal regarding the rising prices of essential goods and the impacts of government taxes. The article provides insight into the political scenario in Chhattisgarh ahead of the assembly elections. Kejriwal’s promises of free services and employment opportunities aim to sway voters in his favor.
