The first return hajj flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to arrive in Dhaka on Monday (July 3), bringing back 419 pilgrims after completing their holy journey in Saudi Arabia. The national flag carrier’s aircraft is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 6:05 am. This marks the beginning of the return flights, which will continue until August 2.

This year, a total of 122,884 people from Bangladesh embarked on the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, six pilgrims from Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar lost their lives due to various complications during their journey.

The arrival of the first hajj flight is a notable event for the pilgrims and their families. Biman Bangladesh Airlines has made all the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable return for the pilgrims. The airport authorities are also prepared to receive the passengers with necessary protocols in place.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and holds great significance for Muslims around the world. It is a spiritual journey that every able-bodied Muslim is expected to undertake at least once in their lifetime. The pilgrimage involves visiting the holy city of Mecca and performing a series of religious rituals, including circling the Kaaba, standing in prayer on Mount Arafat, and stoning the devil in Mina.

The journey of hajj is physically and emotionally demanding, but it is also considered a deeply fulfilling and rewarding experience by those who undertake it. Pilgrims spend several days in Mecca and its surrounding areas, engaging in prayers, reflection, and seeking forgiveness from Allah. It is a time of spiritual renewal and connecting with fellow Muslims from different parts of the world.

For the 419 pilgrims returning on the first hajj flight, their homecoming will be a moment of joy and relief. After completing their religious obligations, they can now reunite with their loved ones and share the stories and blessings they have gathered during their time in Saudi Arabia.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has played a crucial role in facilitating the hajj journey for the pilgrims, ensuring their safe travel to and from Saudi Arabia. The airline has been operating dedicated flights exclusively for the hajj pilgrimage, offering a convenient and comfortable travel experience.

As the return flights continue over the next month, more pilgrims will make their way back to Dhaka, bringing with them a sense of accomplishment and spiritual fulfillment. The hajj journey is a significant milestone in the lives of these individuals, and their return marks the successful completion of this sacred duty.

The government of Bangladesh has also provided extensive support and assistance to the pilgrims throughout their hajj journey. Various agencies and departments have worked together to ensure a smooth and well-organized experience for the pilgrims, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

The return of the pilgrims is a moment of reflection and gratitude. It is an opportunity to recognize the blessings and lessons learned during the hajj journey. The experience of hajj fosters a sense of unity and brotherhood among Muslims, transcending nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds.

As the first hajj flight arrives in Dhaka, it signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. The memories and experiences gained during the journey will stay with the pilgrims forever, reminding them of their spiritual connection to their faith and the global Muslim community.

In conclusion, the safe return of the first hajj flight with 419 pilgrims to Dhaka is cause for celebration and gratitude. Biman Bangladesh Airlines and the relevant authorities have worked diligently to ensure a seamless and comfortable journey for the pilgrims. As more pilgrims return home in the coming weeks, the collective spirit of hajj will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of the Bengali Muslims who embarked on this sacred pilgrimage.
