Eight teams have already qualified for the 10-nation World Cup. These teams include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Afghanistan. Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe are expected to secure the last two spots through a qualifying tournament currently being held in Zimbabwe.
Unfortunately, the West Indies, alongside other lower-ranked teams participating in the qualifying round, are at risk of missing out on the World Cup as they have been unable to secure enough wins.
