Inspectors from the renowned Michelin Guide have recently revealed their favorite new restaurants in the United Kingdom. The selection includes 11 establishments with a variety of culinary influences, such as Armenian, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.

The Michelin inspectors travel throughout the year, evaluating existing restaurants and searching for new ones worthy of recognition in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland. While the prestigious Michelin Stars, Green Stars, and Bib Gourmands are only unveiled at the annual Michelin Guide Ceremony, the inspectors constantly update their selection of new favorites. These additions are disclosed on a monthly basis.

The picks for June 2023 exemplify the Guide’s emphasis on high-quality cuisine across different styles and budgets. Among the restaurants chosen are Dill, an intimate bistro located in the East Sussex town of Lewes, and the Knipe Grill at Gilpin Lake House in Bowness-on-Windermere, which specializes in modern British cuisine featuring steaks, pork chops, and whole fish. Plates by Purnell’s, a tapas bar in Birmingham, also received recognition. Additionally, three restaurants located in London made the list: Hawthorn, Lusin, and Mayha.

The newly added restaurants for June 2023 in the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2023 are as follows:
