Revised Admit Cards for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test Uploaded by Board of Secondary Education
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has announced that the revised admit cards for the second Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)-2022, scheduled for July 1, have been uploaded on the board’s official website. Candidates can now download their revised admit cards from the website. In case candidates are unable to download their admit cards using their registration numbers and registered mobile numbers, they can enter their name along with their father’s name to download the admit cards.
This decision comes after complaints were received regarding defective form fill-up, which resulted in some candidates being assigned examination centers in two different districts for two papers. The BSE Odisha has made efforts to rectify this issue as much as possible and has uploaded the revised admit cards of the affected candidates on their website.
Exact information about the number of revised admit cards available could not be obtained from BSE President Ramasish Hazra and Vice-President Nihar Mohanty. However, it is clear that the board has taken steps to address the concerns raised by candidates.
Previously, several candidates had taken to Twitter to notify Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the School and Mass Education department, BSE, and the Mo Sarkar handle of the state government about errors in their admit cards. The BSE, on the other hand, has denied any irregularities on their part and instead attributed the issues to faults in the online form fill-up process followed by the students. To resolve these problems, the board has established a control room.
This news highlights the importance of accurate and thorough form fill-up processes. It is crucial for candidates to carefully review their information before submitting it to avoid any complications or errors in their admit cards. With the availability of the revised admit cards, candidates can now focus on preparing for the upcoming OTET-2022 without any hindrances.
The BSE’s prompt response in resolving the issues faced by the candidates demonstrates their commitment to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. It is essential for education boards to address any concerns raised by students promptly, as this helps maintain transparency and build trust among stakeholders.
As the revised admit cards are now available for download, candidates are advised to promptly check the board’s official website and retrieve their admit cards using the provided options. By rectifying any discrepancies in the admit cards, the BSE has taken a crucial step in ensuring a successful and hassle-free OTET-2022 examination.
