Gujarat government is all set to sign an MoU with American computer storage chipmaker Micron Technology for the establishment of a semiconductor assembly and test facility in the Sanand district of Ahmedabad. The MoU is expected to be signed in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries in Gandhinagar. The announcement comes after Micron declared that it would invest a whopping USD 2.75 billion (approximately Rs 22,540 crore) in setting up the plant in Gujarat earlier this month.
