Saahaj Milk Producer Company has launched a mobile milk vending van, also known as the mobile milk ATM, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The company aims to sell around 700-800 litres per day initially. The van was flagged off by National Dairy Development Board Chairman Meenesh Shah. Saahaj Milk plans to bring in more such mobile milk ATMs during the fiscal year, expanding its coverage to Mathura and Aligarh initially. The milk vending van will cater to four sectors of Agra Development Authority — Sikandra – Sectors 5, 6, 9, and 10. Moreover, the van’s introduction signifies an important milestone for SMPCL, reflecting its commitment to offering fresh and quality milk to consumers. Basant Choudhary, CEO of Saahaj, said that the company operates in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh and averages 5.80 lakh kg of milk per day from farmer members.
