Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao asserted that his Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is not affiliated with any other party and that it is the team of farmers, Dalits, backwards, and minorities. Addressing a public meeting in Maharashtra’s Solapur district, KCR criticized other parties for calling BRS the ‘B’ team of BJP. He went on to assert that BRS was not a team of any party, but a party itself that aims to serve farmers, Dalits, and other disadvantaged groups. KCR claimed that BRS is not confined to Telangana and Maharashtra but is a national party with the goal of transforming India. BRS has given the slogan of ‘ab ki baar kisan sarkar,’ and KCR hopes that farmers can unite behind the party to bring it to power.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao declares BRS as a political party for the welfare of farmers, Dalits, backward classes, and minorities.
