Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s movie has done a fantastic business at the box office. It is close to touching Rs 300 cr milestone. Kalki 2898 AD is performing really well at the box office. The movie made it to theatres on June 27 and did wonders on its opening day. The film boast of a prominent cast of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and many others. Kalki 2898 AD crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office on its first day itself. Even on the second day, Kalki 2898 AD continued its excellent pace.
As per the official numbers shared by the makers of Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, the movie has made around 298.5 crore in two days at the global box office. On its first day, the movie had made approximately Rs 190 crore and on its second day, it added more Rs 100 crore to the collection. Today being Saturday, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to register yet another mammoth number at the box office. It will cross the mark of Rs 300 crore and given the buzz, may be it will touch the mark of Rs 400 crore. All eyes are on the first weekend business of the film. It did have an advantage as the movie released on a Thursday. But it was a non-holiday and it still worked well.
Talking about the India collection, Kalki 2898 AD is continuing to entertain the masses. It is about to touch Rs 150 crore mark in India.
In terms of reviews, Kalki 2898 AD has only received positive reviews. Even stars like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Nani, SS Rajamouli and many more took to their respective social media handles to give a shout out to director Nag Ashwin and the cast of the film. Rajinikanth praise Nag Ashwin and called it an epic film. He also wrote that he is waiting for part 2. Even Rashmika Mandanna said that it is an excellent movie.
