Infra.Market, a manufacturing start-up, has announced the acquisition of a 92% stake in Strata Geosystems India at a price of INR 910 crore. The deal involves the purchase of Glen Raven’s geosynthetics business via Strata Geosystems. The move aims to enable Infra.Market to become a category leader in geosynthetic manufacturing and geotechnical engineering. Strata is a key player in the technical textile sector in India and offers sustainable materials to various sectors such as landfills, railways, highways, mines, and ports, among others. While Strata will continue to operate as an independent entity, the current operating shareholders – CEO Narendra Dalmia and CDO Gautam Dalmia – will remain invested and lead the business. Infra.Market expects to complete the acquisition by July. The move will bolster its vision to revolutionize the construction ecosystem and enhance its offerings across geosynthetics and other engineering services.
