According to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, cultural warriors need to inform the police instead of taking the law into their own hands to prevent attackers from getting away with their actions. Adityanath participated in the ‘Save Culture Save India Mission,’ an event organized by the Save Culture Save India Foundation at Gautam Buddha Nagar University on Sunday, where he launched the foundation’s website and felicitated cultural warriors.

The Chief Minister spoke about the danger of the digital age and how it could both benefit and harm society. Children have been recently converted through online gaming, and a gang was busted by the police. Another gang, that converted deaf and dumb children, was also exposed. Adityanath said that incidents of religious conversion were not exclusive to Uttar Pradesh, adding that such elements target decent families as part of a conspiracy.

He emphasized that every country has its unique identity, and India’s identity lies in its culture, which must be protected from being played with. Sanskrit and culture are the identities of India, and nothing should disrupt that. We cannot serve anything in society in the name of freedom of expression; thus, society should have some rules and regulations.

Adityanath concluded by saying that every era had both good and bad people. It is crucial that good people become part of the campaign to save their culture and make people aware of the need to protect their heritage and traditions. He recommended that cultural warriors should remain vigilant and report any attacks on the country’s culture to the authorities promptly.

According to the Chief Minister, France is known for its art, while Britain is known for its business interests. Similarly, India’s identity lies in its culture, and no one is allowed to play with this. Adityanath emphasized that while cultural warriors should be proactive in informing the authorities of any threat to their culture, they should not take the law into their own hands. Instead, they should work with the police to ensure that such elements do not go unpunished.
