Former Vanden High School football star Demetrius Crawford is hosting his ninth annual free football camp on July 8 in Fairfield, California. The Dreamchasers Elite Football Camp will be held at Rodriguez High School and is open to children between the ages of 6 and 18. Participants will receive training, lunch, a free T-shirt, other prizes, and hydration.
Crawford and his friends, many of whom have pro football experience in the National Football League or the Canadian Football League, will host the annual event. The camp will focus on all aspects of the game, including offense, defense, and more. Crawford also emphasizes the need for hard work, on and off the field, as a key factor in success.
Registration is required, and parents can sign up their children on the Dreamchasers Elite Football Camp website. The event begins with registration at 9 a.m. and runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Crawford is a 2005 graduate of Vanden High School. During his career, he played at City College of San Francisco, Sacramento City College, and Montana State. Crawford also played for the B.C. Lions and the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL and the Tri-Cities Fever (Kennewick, Washington) in the National Indoor Football League.
This year’s camp aims to build upon the success of previous years, encouraging children to hone their skills and work towards their goals. Crawford and his team are dedicated to promoting the importance of hard work, discipline, and dedication in all aspects of life.
