Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K T Rama Rao has lauded the Telangana model of development describing it as inclusive, holistic, integrated, and balanced. He is confident that the model will pay rich dividends for the party in the upcoming state assembly elections, enabling them to come to power for a third consecutive term.
The TRS party, which won the two previous elections, was rechristened as the BRS last October. The upcoming state assembly polls are scheduled to take place by the end of this year.
In an interview with PTI, Rao, who is also the state’s minister and son of the current Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, said that the people of the state are familiar with the Telangana governance model. He added that the residents of Telangana are aware that no one can provide better administration than K. Chandrashekar Rao, and no one in the state opposition can match him.
Although the BJP and Congress are competing for power in Telangana, Rao claimed that they have never presented a governance model that can match or surpass that of Telangana, even though they are in power in over 20 states across the nation.
The Telangana model, according to K T Rama Rao, is a balanced one that focuses on all aspects of the state’s development, from agriculture to infrastructure to education. The model supports inclusivity, ensuring that people from all sections of society benefit from the state’s development.
The Telangana government has implemented a variety of programs and initiatives to improve basic infrastructure such as roads, water supply, sanitation, and electricity in rural areas. The state also provides free education, healthcare, and pensions for its citizens. The state is moving towards digitization, which will enable clear and efficient governance.
BRS leaders have stated that the party’s main election agenda is to continue the Telangana development model, driven by K Chandrashekar Rao’s visionary leadership, and to meet all the expectations of the state’s people.
In conclusion, the Telangana model of development is one that is holistic and inclusive. It is an evidence-based, balanced approach that has benefited the state’s people in various sectors. The BRS is confident that the Telangana model will result in a third consecutive term in power, and its leaders vow to continue the governance style that has brought about developmental change in the state.
