GREENE COUNTY, Ohio — A Clark County man faces charges including aggravated murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a 71-year-old woman in Yellow Springs, according to the Greene County Grand Jury. Jackson Bleything, 22, has been indicted on multiple counts related to the incident, which occurred earlier this month in the 600 block of South High Street. Authorities allege that Bleything purposefully caused the victim’s death with a gunshot wound to the head. Following the shooting, Bleything is also accused of committing felonious assault with a handgun in a separate incident. He is currently in custody, facing a maximum penalty of life imprisonment without parole. The case remains under investigation, with law enforcement working to bring justice to the victim and her family.
