BJP convener of Jaora assembly segment Mahesh Soni has invalidated the claims of Congress leader Virendra Singh Solanki against MLA Dr Rajendra Pandey over corruption in school construction in Dhodhar village. Soni criticized Solanki’s unfounded allegations and labeled them as indicative of the declining quality of political discourse.
Soni reminded Solanki of his mother Vishnu Kunwar Solanki’s tenure as civic body president, which saw Alot as a haven for anti-social elements. He also pointed out that Solanki did not express any demands for district status during the previous Kamal Nath government’s 15-month tenure in 2018, which Pandey had been working tirelessly to achieve, regardless of the party in power.
Soni accused Solanki of tarnishing the MLA’s reputation and faking social work during the Covid pandemic. He suggested that Solanki had asked for oxygen, beds, and other arrangements from MLA Pandey. Furthermore, Soni accused Solanki of committing financial irregularities in Alot town (Ratlam district) which he threatened to expose.
Soni demanded an apology from Solanki for his baseless accusations. If he fails to do so, Soni threatened to disclose more details of Solanki’s alleged financial irregularities.
The move comes as a major stir in the political scenario of Madhya Pradesh. The allegations between the two political parties, Congress and BJP, have become a hot topic of discussion within the state. The debate over MLA Pandey’s alleged corruption continues to be a contentious issue, with both parties trying to establish their dominance over the matter.
However, despite the controversy, Pandey continues to focus on his work for the betterment of the district, working towards the development of Jaora and achieving district status.
The viewers are eagerly waiting for the outcome of this political turmoil, and the actions that will follow next, in what could be a defining moment for Madhya Pradesh politics.
