A team of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has initiated a survey of the contentious Bhojshala Temple-Kamal Maula Mosque complex in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. The Hindu side advocate, Shreesh Dubey, mentioned that the survey began at 6 am and the report will be promptly submitted to the Court. The Madhya Pradesh High Court recently granted permission for the ASI survey at the disputed site, which sparked discussions about security arrangements during the process. Dhar Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh assured that necessary security measures would be provided to ensure the survey proceeds smoothly. The court order emphasized the importance of the ASI’s statutory duty in clarifying the true nature of the complex, which holds significance for both Hindus and Muslims. This development highlights the ongoing efforts to resolve the longstanding dispute surrounding the Bhojshala Temple-Kamal Maula Mosque complex.
