The Greek Gods have descended from Olympus to the Fortnite island, but players will want to worship the loot rather than these gods themselves, for unfortold goodies could be in their hands if they know where to look. The arrival of Chapter 5 Season 2 has brought many new additions to Fortnite, once again altering the weapon pool to keep the meta fresh and engaging. Yet, with so many weapons to add to the arsenal to get the Victory Royale, there has to be a unique way to obtain them.
This is where the Olympus and Underworld chests come in, which act as a new chest rarity that can be found in two specific Fortnite POIs in the Myths & Monsters season. These chests grant unique loot, and players will want to find them to complete the Search an Olympus Chest or Underworld Chest quest in Fortnite, and ascend like a God from Olympus with some cool loot.
Olympus Chests and Underworld Chests are both found in The Underworld & Mount Olympus POIs, which exist in the top left and bottom right sections of the Chapter 5 Season 2 map respectively. These chests are found in specific spots at random, replacing locations where regular or rare chests can spawn. The chests are easier to find if players have Visual Audio settings enabled, allowing players to track chests within the vicinity by following the markers at the center of their screen.
Thanks to the interactive map on Fortnite.gg, players can use this useful map to guide them to the potential spawn points of the Olympus Chests and Underworld Chests, as they are often scattered around the entire POI, rather than clustered in one guaranteed spot for the season-specific areas.
Inside the Olympus/Underworld chests, players will find a few usual goodies, like Rare and Epic rarity weapons, some shield potions, and perhaps even a new item from the Myths & Monsters loot pool. The Wings of Icarus are rather common, but players also have a chance of finding the Mythic Thunderbolt of Zeus.
