Police find missing pensioner Colin after he was last seen on North East street
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing pensioner who was last seen late last night. Colin Wilkinson, 73, was last seen in the Lower Rudyerd Street area of North Shields at around 9.30pm yesterday. However, he hasn’t been heard from since as officers and family members grow concerned regarding his whereabouts. Colin is described as a white male, around 5 foot 5 inches in height, of medium build, with short grey and brown hair. He often walks with a slight limp and was last known to be wearing tan trousers and a tan coat. He has links to the North Tyneside area, particularly North Shields but might have travelled to other areas and may be using public transport.
Police added: Colin, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, should contact Northumbria Police immediately by calling 101, quoting reference number NP-20240308-1247.
