Union Home Minister Amit Shah predicted on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would secure over 300 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls and return as Prime Minister of India. Speaking at a public meeting in Jammu, Shah ridiculed the opposition’s meeting in Patna, saying that no matter how many parties come together, they can never unite against the NDA. The opposition was hoping to form a united front against the BJP in the upcoming general elections.

Shah called for the opposition to rethink its strategy, claiming that Narendra Modi’s government would return to power with a significant mandate. He arrived in Jammu for a two-day visit before addressing the public. He asserted that Modi’s governance had helped build a new Kashmir, with free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh being offered to every resident of Jammu and Kashmir.

Amit Shah also paid tribute to Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his death anniversary, a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh. He recalled that Mookerjee opposed Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that Ek desh mein do Vidhan, do Pradhan aur do Nishan nahi chalega, and that he played a significant role in integrating Bengal into India.

On his visit to Jammu, Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for various projects and inaugurated the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Samba. He also handed over the Golden Health card to beneficiaries.

The opposition’s meeting in Patna aimed to create a united front against the BJP and included leaders from more than fifteen parties. However, Amit Shah’s remarks suggest that the opposition would need to rethink its strategy and come up with a better plan to challenge Narendra Modi and the NDA.

In conclusion, while addressing the public in Jammu, Home Minister Amit Shah made a bold prediction about the next national elections, saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would secure over 300 seats and return to power. His comments come as the opposition attempts to create a united front against the BJP. Despite the opposition’s efforts, Shah appeared confident that the NDA would retain power and continue to build a new Kashmir.
