Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): A meeting of the Mayor in Council (MiC) of Ratlam Nagar Nigam was held recently to discuss the budget for the upcoming finance year. Mayor Prahalad Patel led the discussions, where various proposals were made regarding the income and expenditure of the Nagar Nigam. After careful consideration, the MiC members unanimously approved the budget for the FY 2024-25.
Key decisions included the approval of beautification projects in the city, such as installing flex lights at significant locations. Additionally, plans were made to construct an approach road at the Mangalya Mandir and improve the underground water levels of wells, Bawdi, and ponds in the city. The issue of constructing a new building for storing Nagar Nigam records was also raised during the meeting.
Present at the gathering were MiC members Bhagat Singh Bhadoria, Pappu Purohit, Anita Katara, Dilip Gandhi, Dharmendra Vyas, Vishal Sharma, Akshay Sanghvi, Raju Soni, Ramlal Dabi, Commissioner A P Singh Gaharwar, and other Nagar Nigam officials. The decisions taken reflect a collective effort to enhance the infrastructure and facilities within Ratlam for the benefit of its residents.
