Four terrorists were killed in the Macchal sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district as the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police foiled an attempted infiltration. The army confirmed that war-like stores were recovered, and the operation was still ongoing. This is the second such infiltration attempt to be stopped within the past month, after five terrorists were killed in Jamagund area on June 16. The latest success is a credit to the vigilance and coordination of the security forces deployed in the region, who remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of the people of Kashmir.
