Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated five new AIIMS hospitals in Rajkot (Gujarat), Bathinda (Punjab), Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh), Kalyani (West Bengal), and Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh) as part of a groundbreaking initiative to bolster India’s healthcare infrastructure. In addition to these hospitals, he also launched 200 healthcare infrastructure projects worth over ₹11,700 crore across 23 states and UTs.
