The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has launched the Integrated Tribal Development Program (ITDP) in Tuli, located in the Mokokchung district, in collaboration with the Community Educational Centre Society (CECS). The program aims to support 200 tribal families in developing fishery and poultry farming, as well as banana and tapioca plantations. The ITDP aims to promote economic growth, support individual farmers, and create sustainable livelihoods within the community. The launch was held at the FRMCA Hall in Tuli town, where the general manager of NABARD, Tiakala Ao, addressed the farmer beneficiaries, encouraging them to put their heart and soul into the project. The director of CECS, Subonenba Longkumer, expressed thanks to NABARD officials for their support and stated that this is the first-ever fishery project to be supported by NABARD in the state of Nagaland. The program concluded with the distribution of fishnets to the beneficiaries.
