Connecticut is among the impacted states of a missing tourist submersible. One of the five passengers aboard the missing Titanic tourist submersible lived in Connecticut for almost a decade. Paul Henry Nargeolet, age 77, of New York City, is considered a Titanic expert and worked as a director of the Underwater Research Program at Premier Exhibitions, RMS Titanic. He was dedicated to the Kent Memorial Library and still remains a board member. Nargeolet had also visited the site on previous OceanGate expeditions. The search and rescue teams from all over the world are busy looking for the submersible, and US Coast Guard officials said they are continuing the search. The Canadian vessel Horizon Arctic has deployed an ROV to search for the missing sub. The search team is racing against the clock as the supply of oxygen in the submersible is expected to run out soon.
