Delhi school band holds audience spellbound as Hardeep Puri flags off The Statesman Vintage Car Rally
The energy level during the flag-off ceremony of The 57th Vintage and Classic Car Rally shot up with patriotic tunes played by the brass band of Delhi’s The Mann School displaying their raw talent that defied their age.
Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, along with other honorable guests, including participants of the iconic vintage and classic car rally organized by The Statesman Group in New Delhi, were all praise for the children who mesmerized the entire audience with their flawless performance.
The Mann School band, consisting of 25 talented girls and boys, showcased their musical prowess as they played patriotic melodies during the flag-off of the rally. With tunes like ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara…,’ ‘Bharat ke Jawaan…,’ ‘Foxtrot…,’ ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh…,’ and ‘Hum Honge Kamyab…,’ the band provided a perfect backdrop as the vintage cars embarked on the rally.

The band majors Saleena Shaheen Ali Alai, Vasanth Madhav S, Yash Gupta, and Divakar Sikaria led the band, showcasing the talent nurtured by The Mann School. Their efforts were guided by their esteemed band master Hony. Lt Nawab Khan, while First Officer Ruchi Shanker, Associate NCC Officer (Army), also accompanied the students.
