A man traveling to Ayodhya on a special train from Vadodara passed away due to a suspected cardiac arrest in the early hours of Saturday. The deceased, Raman Patanvadiya, was a former sarpanch of Sundarpura village near Vadodara. Patanvadiya, accompanied by a group of acquaintances, including his son, was on a pilgrimage when he fell ill and experienced chest pain near Khandwa. Despite immediate CPR and the administration of medications, his condition worsened. A group, led by former Vadodara corporator Rajesh Ayre, disembarked at Khandwa to rush Patanvadiya to a hospital where he was declared dead. Following the autopsy, Ayre, the deceased’s son, and others returned to Vadodara with the body. The cremation is scheduled to take place in Sundarpura on Sunday.
