AMG Systems Launches New Non-IP Ultra-High Security Line
AMG Systems, a leading provider of advanced security solutions from the United Kingdom and the USA, is introducing a groundbreaking fibre optic video, data, and contact closure line. Designed to meet the needs of the new generation of multi-megapixel coaxial cameras, this innovation offers ultra-high security capabilities.
Unlike traditional IP-based systems, the AMG fibre optic transmission line eliminates any potential security risks into the network. Furthermore, it boasts zero latency, as there is no encoding involved, unlike Ethernet systems. With this launch, AMG Systems is revolutionizing the industry and setting a new standard for the years to come. The line includes a range of products for signal transport utilizing the benefits of fibre optic media, such as video, data, serial data, and contact closure.
Key products in the AMG line include the AMGFIB-1VT/(VR) Series, a single-channel video transmitter/receiver with Duplex RS422/485 Serial Data, two Contact Closures, and support for all modern SD and HD video formats. This series accommodates camera resolutions up to 1960p, including CVBS, CVI, TVI, and AHD, covering all major brands and up to 5-megapixel camera types. Additionally, the line features the AMGFIB-1SD Series, an industrially hardened serial data transceiver with Duplex RS422/485 Serial Data and two Contact Closures. Finally, there is the AMGFIB-3CC Series, a fiber optic contact closure transceiver with two Contact Closures, designed to be used in challenging environments and meeting NEMA TS-2 standards. All products are manufactured in the UK in an ISO Certified AMG facility and come with a lifetime warranty.
Thoroughly pleased with this development, Steve Clarke, the Managing Director of AMG Systems, highlighted the significance of this advancement in the market. He stated, Although legacy fibre optic transmission systems are being replaced by IP, there are thousands of fibre optic transmission networks still in use. With the push toward IP, no real effort has been directed toward modernizing traditional fibre optic video and data products. This next generation of AMG fibre optic products is a major step forward. Completely new, with modern available components, now made in our ISO9001 certified facility, AMG fibre optic products are a great combination of quality, availability, and still extremely cost-effective compared to what’s out there, Clarke concluded.
Tom Exley, the Technical Director of AMG Systems, added, The AMG fibre optic transmission product line continues our quality standard. Our engineering team looked at what was currently available, identified weaknesses, and engineered our fibre optic product line to overcome those weaknesses. One of the big issues facing the competition is parts availability. Competing fibre optic products were developed 15-20 years ago, sourcing 20-year-old components is a challenge, and that’s likely the reason for extended production delays and price increases. The AMG line is all new. New designs, and new components and now manufactured in an ISO9001-certified facility. And, most importantly, they are available when you need them. We believe in the quality and stand behind them with lifetime support.
With the AMG fibre optic line, AMG Systems is redefining security systems, taking them to the next level. By combining versatility, reliability, and cutting-edge technology, AMG is addressing the existing challenges faced by legacy fibre optic transmission networks. With a focus on quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness, this transformative product line is poised to make a lasting impact in the industry.
